Remembering September 11, 2001 (VIDEO)

| September 11, 2010 | 0 Comments

Images often speak louder than words–especially in times of tragedy.  This video was one of the most touching and poignant of the thousands available. While it has been 9 tense and challenging years since the United States was a victim of these attacks in New York, Washington, and Shanksville, we should never forget. We will never forget.

Anne Arundel County will be unveiling and dedicating its own 911 Memorial this morning  at 10AM with steel removed from the Twin Towers in New York. We will be there silently paying our respects to those who gave their lives, to their families and friends, and to our Nation. If you make it, the ceremony will be at Police Headquarters on Veterans Highway in Millersville. If not, we will have video and photos.

This post is being made at 8:46am EST, again at 9:03amEST, again at 9:37EST, and finally again at 10:03EST.  Never forget!
