$10K Of Suspected Drugs Seized In Brooklyn Park.  A wanted Baltimore man who police said tried to elude capture — nearly causing two car accidents — in jail Monday after officers confiscated thousands of dollars worth of drugs. Anne Arundel County police said officers arrested Quadrece Simmons, 31, of Baltimore, on Saturday afternoon. Police said a detainer order was in effect from Baltimore City authorities for a probation violation.

Ehrlich: O’Malley Used Agency To Deceive Marylanders.  Republican gubernatorial candidate Bob Ehrlich is accusing Gov. Martin O’Malley of using a state agency to deceive Maryland residents for political purposes, and he said he has the documents to prove it.Ehrlich said he considers the Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation the most broken agency in state government and accused O’Malley of using it to his own political advantage.
