UPDATED: Pasadena Toddler Found In Pool

UPDATE: The toddler who fell into the pool did not survive. Investigators have deemed it an accident and no foul play is suspected.

The Anne Arundel County Fire Department was called to the 7900 block of Tick Neck Road in Pasadena this morning for a toddler who had fallen into a swimming pool and was unresponsive.

According to fire officials, the call was received shortly after 8:00am when the toddler was discovered.  Family members immediately began CPR. When the fire department arrived, he was in cardiac arrest and was transported to BWMC where he remains in a life threatening condition.

While summer is winding down, pool safety can never be stressed enough. There are too many drownings every year and vigilance on the part of everyone needs to be increased. Please take a look at these tips provided by the American Academy of Pediatrics and heed the warnings!
