Conti Fires Back Against Leopold

Democratic candidate for County Executive, Joanna Conti has issued a statement regarding the lawsuit against her opponent, John R. Leopold.

After reviewing the complaint,

I am deeply disturbed by the numerous allegations of inappropriate behavior by John Leopold that are outlined in the recent lawsuit. County employees deserve to be treated fairly and professionally, and I am appalled that county tax dollars are going to have to be spent defending John Leopold. As County Executive, I will restore integrity to our county government and work 24/7 on solving the serious problems facing our county – fixing our budget mess, improving public safety, cleaning up the Bay, and better preparing for BRAC.
