Children’s Theatre Of Annapolis: Say What?

Children’s Theatre of Annapolis is now selling tickets for “Say What: Play Words and Word Plays.” The show is presented by children ages 8 – 18 and is a  collection of one act plays, poems and scenes that celebrate language, theater and humor.  Featuring original works by award winning Annapolis playwright and poet Joe Thompson, as well as William Shakespeare, Robert Frost and Lewis Carroll, the show is fun for all ages. Of course it isn’t just words – there are also slithy toves, talking walls, sword fights, six foot tall puppets, a bit of dance, and major Shakespearean buffoonery.

Show dates are Friday, October 8, 7:30 PM, Saturday, October 9, 2:00 & 7:30, Sunday, October 10, 2:00. American Sign Language interpretation will be provided at the 2:00 PM show on 10/9.  Tickets are $15, $12 for children 12 and under and seniors 60 and over.  For more information or to order tickets, call 410-757-2281 or visit www.childrenstheatreofannapolis.org.
