County Ambulance Crashes Sends 7 To Hospital

Anne Arundel County Paramedic Unit 9 from Lothian/Harwood was involved in a serious collision tonight on Route 2 northbound at the exit ramp from Route 50 westbound, less than a half mile from the hospital. The accident occurred just after 7:00pm.

Apparently, the ambulance struck a car along the exit ramp. Two adults in the car which was struck were flown to Shock Trauma. Two children in the car along with two paramedics and their patient were transported to Anne Arundel Medical Center.

The conditions of the patients are unknown at this time.
