quoting einstein does not make you smarter Doc. If it did and the quite applied to your and Ehryuks platform y'all would not be refering to the reagan handbook for the same tired old ideas. any Doctor that would enter inot politics is probable not very good at either--this is just my opinion based on my close ties with many great physicians.

Not a conflict of interest at all. With our advertising program, all advertisers are entitled to a monthly article. It is authored by them and bylined by them.

It does not imply any endorsement for a candidate or for a product--hence they are the author to keep in compliance with the new FCC rules enacted last year.

On the political stage, ALL candidates for public office that represent Anne Arundel County have been contacted several times and offered the opportunity to advertise. Elfenbein has decided to advertise with us, others are in the process of putting together ads, and others have opted to take a pass.

We encourage candidate to submit news to our site, but we are selective in that it needs to be "news" and not just an announcement that they are having a party.

Isn't this some sort of conflict of interest?
It appears that if a political candidate advertizes on your site he (or presumably she) not only gets an ad on the right side of the page... he also gets a 300 word "article" to tout his campaign.

Will you extend the same opportunity to other candidates who do not pay to advertize?

(On a more petty note, what is with Ron Elfenbein writing in the third person?)
