Senate Candidate Booze Charged With Theft, Drug Possession

| August 7, 2010 at 10:53 am

On Friday, The No BS Zone, broke the story that Pasadena resident and Democrat State Senate Candidate(District 31), John Edward Booze, had been charged for maliciously stealing other candidates election signs.

When we went to verify this, electronic court records indicate that yesterday, he was charged with three separate counts of theft and one count of malicious destruction of property. But it gets more interesting.

In addition to the charges stemming from stealing his opponents’ signs, it appears that John Edward Booze, 52, has been charged with possession of marijuana and three separate counts of possession of paraphernalia.

We suspect that his candidacy has now been suspended.
