The $64 Million Dollar Question

Who earned over $64 million in scholarship money this year? Anne Arundel County Class of 2010!

Congratulations to the 5,073 graduating seniors!  Students in Anne Arundel County Public Schools’ Class of 2010 were offered more than $64.9 million in scholarships, the most ever for an AACPS graduating class and nearly a 15 percent increase from a year ago. The offers surpass last year’s record $56.5 million, and represent the third straight year in which there has been a double-digit percentage increase.

For the second consecutive year, South River High School seniors were offered the highest amount of scholarships – $9.34 million – of any other county high school.
