Annapolis Welcomes 50 New Citizens

This morning, 50 immigrants gave up their status and became United States citizens in a brief ceremony on the patio overlooking the gardens of the William Paca House.

While the setting was certainly apropos (William Paca was one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence), and the date could not be any more appropriate, the real story was reflected in the eyes of these fifty people representing 34 nations who are now members of this giant American family!
