4 People Seriously Injured In Route 50 Collision.  Maryland State Police said four people were seriously injured when two cars collided on Route 50.The crash happened at about 4:40 a.m. Saturday morning.According to police, a Nissan Altima with New Jersey tags was driving the wrong way in the eastbound lane of Route 50, near Route 97, when it collided with a Ford Mustang with Virginia tags.The man driving the Nissan Altima was taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center, along with two female passengers in the Ford Mustang.The woman driving the Mustang was transported to Shock Trauma with life-threatening injuries.

Annapolis Man Charged In Plot To Steal Copper.  A federal grand jury has indicted an Annapolis man on charges of theft in a plot to steal copper cables worth more than $300,000. The indictment against 54-year-old Levon Smith was returned on Tuesday. Smith was arrested on Thursday. According to the five-count indictment, Smith worked at AAI Corp. The federal government bought copper cables and other wire and stored the equipment at AAI. The indictment said that Smith took cables stored at AAI and sold them to a recycling center for cash.

Howard County Teen Charged With Sexual Assault. A Howard County student is facing sexual assault charges.Officials said that 18-year-old Trey Murduck was arrested Thursday night for attacking two young girls.The alleged victims were 14 and 16 years old, according to investigators.The reported attacks happened Monday morning inside the nurse’s office at Mount Hebron High School, according to officials.One of the girls said Murduck pulled a knife during the assault.

Jenna Bush’s Garage Burglarized.  Baltimore police said two bicycles were stolen from the home of Jenna Bush Hager, the daughter of former President George W. Bush.Police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said no one was at the house owned by Bush Hager and her husband when the burglary occurred Friday afternoon. He said there is no indication that whoever burglarized the home knew who lived there.Fingerprint evidence was taken, but no suspects have been identified.
