UPDATE 06/15/2010 10:13 AM: From the police report:
SHOTS FIRED PASADENA
On June 14, 2010, at approximately 5:19 p.m., officers from the Northern District responded to Freetown Village located in the 7800 block of Coutros Court in Pasadena for a report of shots fired.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with multiple witnesses, who reported observing a dark-colored Mitsubishi with tinted windows occupied by four male subjects pull into and park on Coutros Court. The suspects, who were armed with handguns and a long rifle, exited the vehicle and began exchanging gun fire with an unknown suspect standing on Whitaker Road. During the incident, three residences along Whitaker Road sustained damage as they were struck by multiple stray rounds. One witness suffered a minor injury as she attempted to flee the scene. No other injuries were reported at the scene. The suspects re-entered the vehicle and fled the area. Officers responded to the area, but were unable to locate the suspects. We have received a report that there has been a shooting in Pasadena. Details are sketchy and have not been confirmed by the police but in the area of Whitaker Road and Liberty Circle .
There are reportedly multiple suspects with guns and bullet rounds have been shot into multiple homes. DEVELOPING
