Hayward Snubs Gulf Coast Once Again

| June 19, 2010 | 0 Comments

Embattled BP CEO Tony Hayward has been relieved of his “oil spill duties” by the Chairman of the Board at BP.  So where does one go after being grilled by a Congressional Committee? Perhaps to lay low?

Or to the Isle of Wight for a sailing race where his 16 meter yacht, “Bob” is racing. The yacht has a price tag of $700,000 and was designed right here in Annapolis, Maryland by Farr Yacht Design.

It seems that the BP disaster has been one misstep after the other. A few weeks ago, Hayward lamented that he wished he could get his life back. Well, apparently his wish is coming true and once again BP is rubbing salt into the wounds of not only the residents, businesses, and wildlife in the Gulf Coast, but the entire country.

If you are interested in another local blogs takes on the BP spill, you can see them here, here, and here.
