Another serious fire in Edgewater broke out last night at 3461 Shady Drive near the Loch Haven neighborhood. When firefighters arrived on the scene just after 10pm, fire was already through the roof and a second alarm was called by 1020pm.
Initial reports indicate that there were no injuries, but there were dogs in the home. According to land records, the home, built in 1996, is owned by Judith Heller.
This is the third serious house fire in Edgewater this year. In January, local attorney John Sorrell was killed in a Selby Heights blaze, and two weeks ago two people were killed when their home on Highland Drive.
