Cohen may make it appear that he has not raised taxes but admittedly he is eager and willing to raise ‘fees’. Does not a skunk by any other name stink?

My friends, Cohen’s rhetoric is hollow and is meant only to placate the masses. He can always and will certainly blame any raise in taxes on the council and the unions. There is only one real solution to the bankruptcy facing the city and that is a month long furlough , a 50% salary reduction ny Cohen and his “elite wanabee” staff and or/ allowing Cohen to admit ( explicitly) thast he is way out of his league and replacing him immediately.

Your taxes will be raised. Maybe he can circumvent raising your property taxrs my friends, but your taxes Will be raised significantly. Despite Cohen’s sophist rhetoric, 1+1 -4 stile equals -2. And borrowing can not change the fundamentals of real world math.
