The Offers Are In

Annapolis Mayor, Joshua Cohen, asked for public proposals on the future of the market house. Proposals could be for the use of the entire building or just a portion.  The deadline has come and gone, and the City received 15 proposals.

Whole Use

  • 4 separate proposals for a traditional market, cafe

Partial Use

  • Asian food restaurant
  • Pet treats
  • Pretzel store
  • Nautical gift shop
  • Snack shop
  • Sno ball store
  • Salad, wraps , and soup restaurant
  • Fried rice restaurant
  • Antique map store
  • Popcorn store

What do you think?  All of the proposals can be viewed on the City’s website and the Mayor is soliciting comments on his blog.  But we’d like to know what you think here as well and we will pass the comments along to City Hall.
