George Huguely Accused of Killing Yeardly Love

George Huguely, of Chevy Chase, MD has been arrested and charged with the first degree murder of his former girlfriend, Yeardley Love of Cockeysville, MD.

Love’s body was discovered early this morning by her roommate who suspected alcohol poisoning. However, when University officials investigated it became clear that she suffered visisble injuries to her body and had already died.

Both Love and Huguely played lacrosse for the University. Huguely, a midfielder and played in every game this season. Love played defense and started in three games this season.

Currently, Hugeley is being held at the Albemarle-Charlottesville Joint Security Complex in Charlottesville, VA.
