Delegates To Vote On Gang Bill Today. A bill designed to help curb gang violence in Baltimore City is set to hit the state House floor Monday.Baltimore city state’s attorney’s office announced Sunday the 2010 Gang Act is scheduled for a vote in the House of Delegates.The bill would make it illegal to organize, manage or finance a criminal gang.Under the bill, gang leaders could receive up to 20 years in prison, if convicted.

Residents Decry UnderArmour Ad On Baltimore Hill. A huge Under Armour logo painted on the grass at Federal Hill Park in Baltimore angered residents who said the advertisement was too commercial and didn’t benefit the city.Federal Hill Neighborhood Association President Paul Robinson called the ad disrespectful. He also said he received dozens of complaints. Some residents think the ad clashed with the historical nature of the park.

Arrest Made In Annapolis Murder Case. Annapolis police have arrested a suspect in the first murder of the year in Annapolis.Police were called to the unit block of Pleasant Street near Clay Street shortly after 2:30 p.m. Friday and found the woman with stab wounds.She was taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center, where she died shortly after 3 p.m.

Officer Faces DUI Charge After Cruiser Flipped. A Prince George’s County police officer goes on trial later this month on drunken driving and traffic charges after he flipped his unmarked cruiser while he was off duty.Officer Darin Rush has been suspended from the police department since a week after the January accident. He is scheduled to go on trial April 19.Police said Rush was trying to merge onto Central Avenue in the Largo area when his car rolled over. Rush was injured, and the cruiser was badly damaged.
