It's nice that in two months two men? Can come in to the City and demantal it from the inside out. They both Mr.Cohen and Mr. Smith ( sorry they do not deserve their titles ) spend thousands of dollars in new salaies in the Mayors Office, implement a layoff in contray to his campaine promises. The layoffs were uncalled for without looking at other ways to deal with the City's money woes? The city is sitting on property worth millions in the old Rec. Center!! da

The city lost some very good folks that worked very hard for the city and now Mr. Smith wants to give himself another $53,000.00 dollars on top of his $145,000.00, but then take a 3% raise that has already been contracted to the city's union members in return for no layoffs. lie!!! Not to mention trying to take the city employees for a 3.0% pay degrease and raise there insurance up 25%.
Lets add this up hmmmm. Adds up to a 31% overall pay degrease in pay for city employees. Lets not forget they are also faceing 10 furlow days on top of all of this! That's another two weeks pay. To me this adds up to alot of works that are lucky to have a job will still have to stand in lines at the soup kitchen's as they watch there house be taken back by the banks or there landlord placing them on the street(s).
