If the City's "NEW" Administration would have come in and allowed the folks do what they now how to do! Instead of throwing out threats to the employees of taking back there 3% raise that is do them and said there would be no! layoffs and furlows. Not to mention not paying it's employees the over time due them for working to help clear the city. For 18 years the crews were give overtime for working such storm clean ups when city office's have been closed. I wounder what is happening to the moral of the employees. Back in 2003 snow storm the city crews did a fantastic job of clean up not to mention they keeped up with storm, which was 20"+ storm and by the thrid day city crews were hitting community streets. The New Administration should have come in not with the intention of running the city like it was there buisness parking lot and trying to "grease and old wheel". Yes, I do agree that some changes are needed, but taking it out on the men that hold the City together is and should not be one.
