Electrical Fire Contained

According to The Arundel Muckraker‘s Facebook Page:

Firefighters are on the scene of a fire at a church in Davidsonville.

An electrical transformer on the outside of the Riva Trace Baptist Church caught fire, which spread into the building’s electrical room.

The fire is contained to the electrical room, and firefighters are waiting for Baltimore Gas and Electric crews to turn off the power. But BGE officials have told authorities they’re “shut down,” and can’t say when they’ll get to the scene.

Responders came across a BGE crew on their way to the scene, and asked the workers to come to the church. They’re on their way now.
