A Few hundred Or A Few Thousand?
On Tuesday, a “Tea Party” rally was organized at Lawyer’s Mall in Annapolis. Our local paper led off the story with “Hundreds of conservative Tea Party activists swooped into Annapolis last night on the first day of the 2010 legislative session.” During the “Tea Party” in April 2009, they also said the crowd numbered in the “hundreds”. No wonder they are struggling–their math skills are way off.
April’s event had well over one thousand people turn out on a cold rainy day. This weeks event was attended by thousands as well. But don;t take our word for it; as they say a picture is worth a thousand words.
But the question that remains is why The Capital can’t accurately report the attendance.
