Now HERE’S A Politician

What a great story! The daughter of an elderly man took to Twitter to ask for someone to help shovel her father’s sidewalk on New Years Eve–he was 65.

Cory Booker, the Mayor or Newark, NJ came to the rescue. He called the father and told him he would be there by noon  along with shovels and salt.

The world needs more politicians who remember that they indeed do work for the people! Anyone want to bet if he gets re-elected?

Hey, did you know you can follow Eye On Annapolis on Twitter as well?  Not sure we will shovel your walks, but it is worth a shot. Follow us here.
