As a boat sits on the trailer out front, firefighters and investigators are sifting through the still smoldering remains of a home at2604 Ogleton Road which burned to the ground yesterday afternoon.

Land records indicate the home is owned by Kenneth A. Riegert.  The fire was so intense that any type of interior attack was impossible.

Bay Area Recovery Canines was called to the scene this morning as the sun rose to begin the search for any victims who may be in the home. Contrary to reports last night, the owner of the home has not been located and firefighters on the scene say there is reason to believe there may be one or more fatalities inside.
