Arundel Mills Owner Backs Slots. The owner of Arundel Mills Mall publicly gave his support to the company he would like to see awarded a slots license for a casino at that location. WBAL TV 11 News reporter John Sherman spoke with Simon Property Group owner Greg Goodman, who said as far as he’s concerned, slots will be welcomed.
Officials: Missing Man’s Body Found In River. Anne Arundel County officials said they found the body of a man who was missing floating in the waters of South River near Edgewater. Officials said a kayaker found the body floating near crab pots at about 11 a.m. Monday near Mayo Beach Park where the mouth of South River and the Chesapeake Bay meet.
Daughters Plead Guilty To Mom’s Abuse, Death. The daughter’s accused of the horrifying abuse and neglect of their own mother got emotional in a Baltimore courtroom Monday as they accepted a plea agreement.
Baltimore County Rejects Youth Tanning Restriction. A proposal to restrict the use of tanning facilities by minors has been rejected in Baltimore County. The council voted 5 to 2 against the measure Monday night.Current state law allows people under 18 to use tanning facilities with their parents’ permission. The new restriction would have allowed children to tan only with a doctor’s prescription.
