STEM Program Receives Money From Federal Government
Anne Arundel County middle schools just got a huge boost from the Federal government. A $381,000 grant was awarded to supplement the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) program. The grant was earmarked earlier this year in a congressional spending bill.
The object of the program is to get more middle school students interested in high tech jobs once they are out of school.
