The tale of the local woman who accused the TSA of abducting her child again dominated the stories this week–most likely because it happened over last weekend, and because the New York Times picked up on it and linked to us! But it seems to have calmed down and the TSA is mum on the possibility of filing charges.

H1N1 was the other big story with the County’s first death from the virus. Walter Brooks was a well liked freshman at Anne Arundel Community College and passed away in a matter of days. The county made some additional vaccine doses available and we checked in with the public schools to take the H1N1 temperature.
