2009 Volunteer Project Hall Of FameVolunteer Center

Each year hundreds of volunteers participate in projects that help our community. Many awards are given to recognize groups and individuals for their hard work. However, many of us are unfamiliar with the background and impact of the projects themselves.

The 2009 Volunteer Project Hall of Fame Awards, sponsored by the Volunteer Center For Anne Arundel County and the Coordinators of Volunteers of Anne Arundel County, will honor volunteer projects that have had the most impact in Anne Arundel County and the City of Annapolis.

Nominations are invited for volunteer projects sponsored by local nonprofit or faith-based organizations, local businesses, governmental agencies and other groups.

Volunteer Project Nomination forms are now available. Nominations must be completed and received by the Volunteer Center no later than October 19, 2009.

Award winners will be announced at the Induction Luncheon Celebration to be held at Loews Annapolis Hotel, 125 West St. Annapolis, MD 21401, on Friday, November 6, 2009 at 11:30 am.

You can download nomination forms (PDF) or contact Bill Crabbs at [email protected] or 410-897-9207.
