A Pasadena teenager went to school as usual on Wednesday and walked away with thousands of dollars in the bank for college.Chesapeake High School senior James Dougan was one of five people in the region to receive a college scholarship given out by retail giant Nordstrom.

Man Charged With Distributing Child Porn. A Howard County man has been arrested and charged with distributing child pornography.Maryland State Police arrested Clifford A. Clarkson, 48, of Elkridge, Tuesday night and charged him with distributing and possessing child pornography and possessing a firearm after being convicted of a disqualifying crime.

MD Reports 2 More H1N1-Related Deaths. Maryland health officials are reporting two more deaths associated with the H1N1 flu virus. Officials are also detailing flu symptoms and emergency warning signs. The Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene said two Baltimore area adults who were unrelated died from swine flu complications. Neither person had apparent underlying medical conditions.
