Got Sniffles, Cough? Don’t Jump To H1N1 Right Away. Had the sniffles lately? Maybe a bad sinus infection or just not feeling like yourself? Coughing and sneezing has people on edge these days as they try to figure out if they have the H1N1 flu or not.The Greater Baltimore Medical Center presented a program that was aimed at dispelling all the rumors and telling people what they need to be most concerned about.

Sniper Muhammad To Die By Lethal Injection. Convicted sniper John Allen Muhammad will die by lethal injection when he is executed next month. Department of Corrections spokesman Larry Traylor said Muhammad declined to choose between lethal injection and electrocution, so the method defaults to lethal injection.

BGE Awarded $200M For ‘Smart Meters’. Baltimore Gas & Electric was among the winners of federal smart grid funding announced by President Barack Obama.BGE parent Constellation Energy said the utility will receive $200 million in federal stimulus money for an initiative that includes that the installation of 2 million residential and commercial smart meters.

Police Probe School Vandalism As Hate Crime. Baltimore police are investigating the vandalism of a southeast city high school as a hate crime.The incident happened Monday night at the city’s new Community High School just off O’Donnell Street. The school used to be Southeast Middle School but reopened this fall as a second chance school for city teens on the verge of failing.
