Man Charged With Abusing 1-Year Old. Easton police have charged a man with burning, shaking and breaking the arm of his girlfriend’s 1-year-old daughter. Earl Luther Wilt Jr., 39, of Easton was arrested Thursday and charged with assault and child abuse. He is being held on $50,000 bond.

Police Investigate Questionable 911 CallSeveral schools and at least one neighborhood were locked down Monday as Anne Arundel County police investigated a call that a woman had been shot. The call has since been deemed unfounded.

Route 32 Turn Lane Installation Begins. Changes are coming to Route 32 in Howard County. Crews started working Monday on installing left turn lanes at three intersections: Day Road, River Road and Amber Way.They’ll also add a center left turn lane on Route 32 between Emory Farm Lane and just south of River Road.
