5 Caught In Carjacking

County Cops Nail 5 Bad Guys

On October 29, 2009, at 1:30 am, police received a report of an armed carjacking at the Brass Rail Saloon located on Hog Neck Road in Pasadena.

The victim reported that when he left the bar, five men surrounded his car and began to attack him. They branished knives but the victim was unhurt. The five escaped in two other vehicles as well as the victim’s.

The police broadcast a description of the vehicles and one was located in the parking lot of  Willy D’s bar on Fort Smallwood Road. Police were told that three suspects were hiding in the bathroom and two more had just left in a black Dodge pick-up.  The three in the bathroom were arrested and the two others were quickly stopped on Ft. Smallwood Road.

The suspects were all charged with: Armed Carjacking, Armed Robbery, 1st Degree Assault, 2nd Degree Assault, Reckless Endangerment, Felony Theft, and Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.

Suspect #3: Ryan A. Long, 24, of 918 Hammonds Lane, Brooklyn MD
Suspect #4: Brian K. Joyce Jr., 21, of 6238 Baldwin Ridge Road, Baldwin MD
Suspect #5: Laura M. Bruce, 25, of 118 Lake Shore Drive, Pasadena MD
