Woman Falls In Front Of School Bus

UPDATE: From Anne Arundel County Police, the bus involved was a school bus. We are waiting on a comment from Anne Arundel County Public Schools.

A woman was run over by a school bus yesterday morning at Hospitable Drive and Elvation Road in Glen Burnie.  According to police reports, Marlene Miller Turnage, 58 of Millersville may have been suffering from a medical condition which caused her to fall in front of the bus.

The bus, operated by Gail Dian Pasta of Glen Burnie did not stop at the accident scene and stated she did not realize she had hit a pedestrian.  The police report was not clear if the bus was a transit bus, school bus, or private bus. In a follow up email, Justin Mulcahy, Public Information Officer for the County Police Department advised that the bus was indeed a school bus.
