County Schools Prepare For H1N1 OutbreakAA Co School Board Logo

Yesterday, Anne Arundel County Schools sent home a letter outlining the collaboration between the schools and the County, State and Federal authorities as it relates to the spread of the H1N1 virus (Swine Flu).

The letter noted that school health practitioners would not be diagnosing either the seasonal flu or the H1N1 virus; but merely tracking the instances of symptoms associated with each–which are very similar.
