Fox Campaign Issues Statement

The campaign of Independent, Chris Fox has isued the following statement regarding the withdrawal of Zina Pierre from the Annapolis Mayoral race.

Chris Fox, Independent Candidate for Mayor of Annapolis, wishes Zina Pierre well as she bows out of the mayoral race in Annapolis.

“It is unfortunate for Zina that she has withdrawn from the race. I wish her well, and respect the tough decision that she has had to make. I have always respected Zina, and we have had a very friendly relationship throughout both of our campaigns. Her passion for Annapolis is evident and she should be looked at as a great asset for our City. It is an unfortunate situation anytime the democratic process is taken out of the hands of the voters.

“This revelation does not change my campaign at all. I am completely focused on the issues facing Annapolis. I believe that I remain the best candidate in this election and I am the best person to bring the changes that are desperately needed to City Hall, and all residents of Annapolis”
