| September 5, 2009 at 10:10 am

Drivers Beware

The Anne Arundel County Police Department is conducting Operation HASTE in school zones across the county. HASTE is an acronym for Helping Arriving Students Through Enforcement.  In addition to the school resource officers, the County will have officers near the school zones looking for traffic violations that could lead to a dangerous situation for children walking to school. Police are targeting aggressive driving including speeding, unsafe lane changes, traffic signal violations and more.
