Police Nab Three In Drug Sting
According to The Capital, it seems that two of Mayor Ellen Moyer’s adult grandchildren may be taking her “green initiatives” a bit too far:
Annapolis police arrested three people – including two of Mayor Ellen O. Moyer’s grandchildren – on drug possession charges after stopping two cars Friday night….Police said they followed Benda and pulled him over after the car backfired as it pulled onto Forest Drive. Benda volunteered that there was marijuana in the car after a police dog alerted on it. Police said they found a glass pipe and 1.4 grams of marijuana in a backpack in the car’s trunk….they found Erin Moyer, 18, sitting on the floor in the basement. Nearby was a bong and a baggie with 9 grams of marijuana in it, police said.
