Can Ehrlich Unseat Leopold?

Will this be the battle to watch in 2010?

No, the OTHER Ehrlich! Rumors of Kendel Ehrlich’s possible run for County Executive for Anne Arundel County have kicked up a notch in recent weeks. When The Baltimore Sun asked Del. James J. King, an Anne Arundel County Republican; he said that Ehrlich expressed an interest in one day running for office when the two had lunch a couple of years ago.

So, can an attractive, young vivacious, popular former First Lady take on a sexagenarian whose tenure has been marred by accusations of sexual harassment, public indecency, and abusive behavior?

Leopold’s term, in a political sense, has been rather unremarkable. Some may consider the current Executive as being complacent. But if Kendel decides to run, this site is predicting she will give him a run for his money.
