annapolis-policeDomestic Disturbance Call Doesn’t End As Expected

According to a press release just issued by the Annapolis Police Department, officers have arrested four individuals and charged them with various drug offenses.

The bust came about from a domestic disturbance call on Lake Heron Drive in the Annapolis Roads Apartments. A woman called police and said the suspect assaulted her and pointed a handgun at her. Tow officers with familiarity of the suspect obtained a search warrant for the property and seized, a cache of drugs, including more than 900 grams of crack cocaine, nearly 70 grams of heroin and more than 600 grams of marijuana. Estimated street value of the narcotics is approximately $110,000.00. Also recovered was approximately $7,000.00 and a Smith and Wesson revolver.

Police arrested the following individuals:

  • Marlon Patrick Green (first and second degree assault, handgun violation, possession of a handgun in the commission of a violent crime, 2 counts of possession of narcotic with intent to distribute large amount, possession of a firearm in relation to drug trafficking, 2 counts of possession of narcotic with intent to distribute, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of marijuana, 2 counts of possession of narcotic, and possession of drug paraphernalia.)
  • Jerrell Maclin (2 counts of possession of narcotic with intent to distribute large amount, possession of a firearm in relation to drug trafficking, 2 counts of possession of narcotic with intent to distribute, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of marijuana, 2 counts of possession of narcotic, and possession of drug paraphernalia. )
  • Kevan Simms (2 counts of possession of narcotic with intent to distribute large amount, possession of a firearm in relation to drug trafficking, 2 counts of possession of narcotic with intent to distribute, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of marijuana, 2 counts of possession of narcotic, and possession of drug paraphernalia. )

I guess the moral of the story is twofold–don’t do drugs,  and if you do, don’t call the police knowing they are going to find them.

Kudos to Officer Urban and Detective Carson of the Annapolis Police Department for a heads up job. Well done!
