Mentor Encourage Lift & Love To Sponsor Diaper Drive

Our 2009 Diaper Drive has started!  This year we have four locations for  the drop off of your disposable diapers, pull ups and wipes. We are accepting diapers of all sizes and brands.  The Diaper Drive will run through May 8, 2009 for distribution May 9, 2009, the Saturday before Mother’s Day.

Tammie Amoroso is the President of With A Little Amor a small business providing workshops for every budget, she is a mother, entrepreneur, domestic violence survivor and workshop presenter. She is the Executive Director of Mentor, Encourage, Lift and Love, Inc., a community based organization providing life skills, educational workshops and mentoring to teen parents. Tammie has a passion for helping others and shares her testimony of being a former teen parent and a survivor of domestic violence.
Tammie has been interviewed on local radio stations and in local newspapers. In November 2008, she was interviewed as a Comcast Newsmakers on CNN Headline News.
Tammie has received several awards for her commitment and dedication to the community. The awards included the “Diva In Charge Award”, “The Educator Serving The Community Award” and “Woman Of Inspiration Award”.
Tammie is a certified program coordinator and has over 15 years experience in the medical industry.
Tammie currently serves as an advisory board member to Butterfly Cares, Inc. a community based mentoring organization and is a member of the following organizations, Sisters4Sisters, Women Offering Wisdom, National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, and NCADV Women of Color Caucus. She also is part of an online prison ministry and she mails Christmas cards to inmates during the Holiday Season.
Tammie lives in Maryland with her youngest son.
