UPDATE: 10:29 am, Saturday 4/11/2009. The suspect took his parents hostage in the 7800 block of Camp Road in Pasadena. He was distraught over losing his job and reportedly had recently had his car repossessed. There were weapons found in the attic and neither the suspect nor his parents were injured. The suspect was arrested and sent to the hospital for psychiatric evaluations.
UPDATE: 4:56 pm From the Anne Arundel County Police Department, the barricade situation is over and the suspect is in custody. All local roads are in the process of being reopened.
