Jim Conley To Enter Ward 5 Race In Annapolis

Conley to enter the Annapolis Ward 5 race for Alderman

vote We have learned that Jim Conley will seek another aldermanic slot in the upcoming election running as a Republican. In the 2007 special election, Conley lost to Sheila Finlayson (D-Ward 4) by a scant 27 votes and has since moved into Ward 5.

It appears that Conley will have the support of Mayoral Candidate Dave Cordle, Alderwoman Julie Stankivic, Delegate Ron George and the county and statewide GOP party.

I lived right next to Jim when I lived in the Bay Ridge area of Annapolis several years back. I wish him luck….and hope we start seeing some GOP candidates making a dent in this one party state!
