UPDATE: It is official, schools are closed tomorrow March 2, 2009
Marylanders are an odd bunch. The mere mention of snow and they lose their minds. But it looks like the run on milk and toilet paper was warranted this time. The Weather.com is calling for an accumulation of 7″ to 10″ of snow tonight and into tomorrow! I guess this post may have been a premonition.
So, it looks like the kids will be home playing their Wiis and driving their parents crazy. I am not sure the last time I had a kid knocking on my door saying, “Hey Mister, can I shavel your driveway?”
But just in case the forecasts are wrong, please check the Anne Arundel County Public Schools website for the official word. And if they do cancel school–remember, you heard it here first!
