		<description>I am surprised that they let the driver continue on with their route.

It has always been my understanding that the USDOT (department of transportation) requires commercial drivers be tested for drugs and alcohol after such an incident.

The only possible explanation is perhaps there is a time window that they have to get tested in?

Even if that is the case, I wouldn&#039;t let the driver continue on -- what if they were under the influence?  A test would be the only way to determine such.
