Everyone Hates Ellen
The Mayor must have a complex. Everyone seems to be out to get her. Remember a few days ago, when we told you that she felt two local bloggers were out to get her, and sent a scathing memo to two aldermen admonishing them from speaking to them?
Well now it seems that she feels Site Realty (the management company hired by her to run the ill-fated Market House) is out to get her as well.
In a letter sent to The Capital explaining how she was not going to try this case in the press (yeah, go figure), she said:
“It appears their tactic is to unfairly discredit a person and cloud the real legal issue. We are not going to litigate this issue in the press. We are pursuing our legal options aggressively and we are confident in our position.”
And don’t forget, just because you’re paranoid, doesn’t mean that they are not out to get you!

Wow, very interesting. So even the mayor of Annapolis is feeling the heat. It seems paranoia among elected officials fearing the reach and influence of bloggers is beginning to spread. I say GOOD! Let it spread like a virus, let it become epidemic throughout the land.
If bloggers are to be the last independent watchmen in America, so be it. Not self aggrandizement, but seriously, we bloggers are literally influencing public policy, and shedding further light on government that so often prefers to dwell in darkness.
The detractors and naysayers can say as they please, but clearly, if one were to listen closely to these elected officials, THEY KNOW THAT BLOGGERS ARE HAVING AN IMPACT!
Blog on, blog on!
